Export tags separately in lists
I regularly need to create lists alongside information that is stored in tags.
I would really like to be able to pick which tags display in the export rather than them all being displayed in one column.
If it isn't possible to filter which tags are displayed in the export, perhaps tags could be displayed in separate columns on the export spreadsheet so it is easy to delete less important information and keep the columns with the required information.

<Hidden>Definitely agree with this - it takes a lot of time to split them all out, and going forward, I need this info to segment and analyse my campaigns more effectively

<Hidden>Yes, I agree with this! I would like to run transactions lists for a certain date period, which I can then break down into Individual donors, Corporate donors, regular givers etc.

<Hidden>This would be great, but as an alternative, I'd like to be able to export selected Tag Categories. This would save selecting every relevant tag, but would be a nice way to limit the tags being downloaded, and include the Tag Categories that are relevant to the job. This would be particularly helpful as there is a character limit of 1024 on the current ActiveTags field when downloaded. This means the downloaded ActiveTags field can have has gaps in the data, which may be critical to you subsequent use of the file. I suspect that organisation may not even realise that this limit is corrupting their processes.

<Hidden>Totally need this facility, this would immeasurably improve the major donor segmentation side of Donorfy. Look forward to seeing this.

<Hidden>It would be fantastic if the 'active tags' column was at the very least split into separate tag groups to make filtering easier. Being able to export a constituent list and then filter certain tags or combination of tags would be fantastic and make segmenting lists much quicker and easier.

<Hidden>I would really like to see this come to fruition. The fact 'all active tags' is a single cell of data when exported to excel makes it really hard to work with! It would be really great to be able to filter by active tags at the list level, or for them at least to be in separate columns of data on an export (so that less excel jiggery-pokery is needed!)

<Hidden>We have a gift aider tag and a gift aid refused tag which are used for cash appeals and sometimes get lost in the one box in Excel because it exceeds the number of characters for that box (agree with Tim Reed on this).

<Hidden>Yes please. This causes me a lot of pain at the moment and woud help so much as we have quite a lot of tags.

<Hidden>Definitely agree with this. Ability to select which tags to see in the export and seeing the tags in separate columns would help so much with reporting.

<Hidden>Agree with the above comments. The amount of extra time it takes is really costly to us as an org. Also what Tim Reed has suggested would also work for us.

<Hidden>Can't understand why this is still under consideration when it has been requested 4 years ago and is still getting new votes. Please Donorfy - can you get on this.

<Hidden>Yes please - this is imperative for our reporting. It is extremely laborious to have to run separate tag lists and cross reference in excel. Donorfy, please look at this.

<Hidden>Please implement this change. Having recently migrated over from Raiser's Edge we are finding it much more difficult to report and provide analysis for departments.

<Hidden>I *need* to be able to run a single Connection list that can search based on and report data from within tags *either side of* a Connection, and send all of the results to MailChimp or DotDigital.
The sheer number of List types is really confusing, baffling to explain to new users, and means so many essential searches just aren't possible. -

<Hidden>Yes please from me too, that would save so much time and make reporting so much easier. I also agree with the comment above that this is important enough to progress it from the status 'consideration'.

<Hidden>Yes - this would be very useful. It currently is not helpful to have a group of tags under one column.
